The Group includes AR Vacuum, a company specialising in the development of vacuum technology solutions and components for industrial automation.
Metal Work S.p.A.: the Group's parent company
Founded in 1967, Metal Work S.p.A. is the parent company of the Metal Work Group, with its manufacturing headquarters in Concesio (Brescia), Italy.
Metal Work S.p.A. designs and manufactures components, systems and technologies for industrial automation and motion control entirely in Italy. Italian manufacturing expertise, combined with technological research and the ability to develop innovative solutions, has always been one of the company's key distinguishing strengths.
Throughout its history, Metal Work S.p.A. has established a strong position in the industrial automation sector, developing a comprehensive product range covering the main families of:
- actuators and components for handling;
- valves and control systems;
- compressed air treatment components;
- fittings and system accessories.
The product range has progressively expanded to meet the evolution of manufacturing processes and the changing needs of industry, through the continuous development of new products, applications and customised automation solutions.
Manufacturing and industrial expertise
The manufacturing facilities of Metal Work S.p.A. in Concesio (Brescia) currently employ more than 600 people. The Metal Work Group's Italian and international sales organisation comprises more than 800 people in total.
Italian manufacturing, combined with a direct presence in key international markets, enables the Group to combine industrial know-how, application expertise and close customer relationships.
Through its various companies, Metal Work provides expertise and solutions to machine builders, system integrators and industrial companies operating across different areas of automation.
Quality, environment and safety
Quality, sustainability and safety are well-established elements of Metal Work's industrial culture.
Metal Work S.p.A. has been ISO 9001 certified since 1992, confirming its commitment to quality management across its processes and products.
In 2000, the company obtained ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management system. In 2007, it adopted the OHSAS 18001 standard for occupational health and safety management, which was subsequently replaced by ISO 45001 certification in 2019.
These certifications were issued by the German certification body DEKRA ITS, accredited by TGA.
Since 2016, Metal Work has also been part of ELITE, the programme launched by Borsa Italiana in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, Confindustria and ABI to support and accelerate business growth.
